To the Gtech Community Stadium team,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making my dream of a 60th birthday party at the Gtech come true in such a spectacular way.
From the first enquiry I sent way back when, to all the little things I wanted to do to have the party my way, to all the varied food requests, to what time the band could arrive etc, etc, etc - nothing was too much trouble for any of you, and all your help contributed to what was a memorable evening for me, my family and my friends.
Everybody had a brilliant time, loved the food and the room, especially the balcony, which was the highlight for many people. I also spent a lot of time out there and I can't remember how many times I pointed out to people where I sit in the North Stand, where the away fans go etc!
Walking into reception and seeing my photos above the reception desk was another highlight and for one night it felt like the Gtech was mine!
I'd recommend holding a party at the stadium to anyone - and maybe I'll do it all again in 10 years' time if I am still around!
